Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at TerraSource Global. As a key member of our service operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, advise, and train customers on equipment installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Proactively work with customers, sales representatives, and monitor recent orders to identify opportunities for service visits.
  • Complete service visits, generate professional reports, and submit billing in a timely manner.
  • Utilize SalesForce system to submit Quote Requests, manage Service Reports, update Asset data, and collaborate with other departments.
  • Manage time and resources effectively to minimize overtime and expenses while generating Value Add Service and Parts Quotes.
  • Provide feedback and training on equipment performance and potential improvements to Sales, Engineering, and others in the Field Service Department.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in a technical field; or a minimum of 5 year(s) related heavy industrial service experience and/or training.
  • English writing and verbal skills are required; French is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and engineering drawings.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of residence and insurability under company's motor vehicle insurance policy.
  • Demonstrated common PC skills including Microsoft products.
  • Experience with SalesForce or similar customer management software is preferred.

Travel and Work Schedule:

Employee must be able to travel 60% of the time, with some international travel required. Work schedule may be adjusted to allow weekdays off when weekends are worked.
