Job Title: Babysitter

We are seeking a reliable and caring Babysitter to join our team at Patrice Mbida Bekolo. As a Babysitter, you will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare services to our clients, ensuring their children receive the best possible care and attention.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality childcare services to infants and toddlers, including feeding, bathing, and dressing.
  • Establish a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities, games, and outings for children, encouraging their cognitive and motor skills development.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring children's dietary needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's daily activities, health information, and any notable events.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed about their child's daily routine, meals, and any issues that may arise.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and organized environment for children.
  • Travel with families on trips, providing childcare services and ensuring children's safety and well-being.
  • Discipline children in accordance with parents' requests, promoting positive behavior and social development.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to children, helping them cope with separation anxiety or other emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with other caregivers and staff members to ensure seamless childcare services.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility, initiative, and patience, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality childcare services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
