Job Title: Acoustics and Vibration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Acoustics and Vibration Engineer to join our team at SLR Consulting (Canada). As a key member of our environmental services team, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions to our clients across North America.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work on a diverse range of projects, including noise and vibration assessments, field measurements, and the development of new noise and vibration models. You will work closely with our senior consultants to deliver high-quality results and contribute to the growth and success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct noise and vibration assessments on challenging projects, including environmental noise and vibration control
  • Perform field measurements in various environments and conditions
  • Develop and implement new noise and vibration models and applications
  • Prepare and present technical reports and presentations
  • Coordinate projects to ensure timely completion and budget adherence
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental noise and vibration
  • Degree in engineering, physics, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Proficiency in computational and office suite software, including Matlab and finite element modeling packages
  • Experience with noise and vibration modeling software, such as CadnaA and CATT
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
