Job Title: Acoustics and Vibration Engineer

SLR Consulting (Canada) is seeking a highly skilled Acoustics and Vibration Engineer to join our team in Guelph, ON. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering environmental and sustainability services to our clients.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented engineer with a passion for working on environmental-related projects. In this position, you will work closely with our senior consultants on a diverse array of private and public sector clients across North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct noise and vibration assessments on challenging and stimulating projects
  • Develop and implement noise and vibration models
  • Prepare and present technical reports
  • Coordinate projects to maintain schedule and budgets
  • Lead the development of new models and applications related to noise and vibration
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working in environmental noise and vibration
  • Degree in engineering, physics, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Experience with project proposals, coordination, or management
  • Familiarity with the fundamentals and approaches used to measure, predict, and evaluate noise and vibration
  • Proficiency with computational and office suite software
