About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Ergonomist to join our team of engineering and ergonomics professionals at Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical demands analyses and ergonomic risk assessments for various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, and production lines.
  • Perform ergonomic assessments using standard tools and methods, and provide detailed technical reports to clients.
  • Identify and prioritize ergonomic risks, and provide recommendations for reducing such risks.
  • Develop ergonomic specifications and standards through literature review, research, and analysis.
  • Act as a team lead on specified projects and activities.
  • Conduct workplace ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvements and optimization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of industrial ergonomics experience or a passion to learn and grow in the field.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Kinesiology, Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, Movement Science, Occupational Biomechanics, Ergonomics, or a related discipline.
  • Associate Ergonomics Professional (AEP), Associate Ergonomist (AE) certification, or Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel 50% depending on client site locations, mainly within the U.S. or globally.
