Job Summary:
We're seeking a trusted Caregiver Companion to join our team in Pitt Meadows/Maple Ridge. As a member of our home care team, you will work under the supervision of our Care Coordinator to provide various personal care services tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare nutritious meals that cater to individual dietary requirements
- Provide light housekeeping services to maintain a comfortable living environment
- Accompany clients on outings and engage in activities that promote social interaction and emotional well-being
- Assist with shopping and errands to ensure seamless daily routines
- Remind clients of medication schedules and help them stay organized
- Ambulate and transport clients safely to appointments and other destinations
- Offer companionship and emotional support to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
- Follow established care plans to ensure consistent high-quality care
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting records to track client progress
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Clean Background Check (current or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to travel within Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge areas
- Access to reliable internet/mobile phone for communication and documentation
