Job Description

Job Title: Floor Covering Specialist

M Tech Concrete is seeking an experienced Floor Covering Specialist to join our team. As a Floor Covering Specialist, you will be responsible for installing floor coverings, including carpeting, resilient flooring, and hardwood floors.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting, resilient flooring, and hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Install materials on countertops and raised platforms

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in floor covering installation
  • Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy loads
  • Team player with excellent communication skills

Work Environment:

  • On-site work only (no remote work)
  • Commercial and residential settings
