Kitchen Helper Job Description

Bento Sushi is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare ingredients for cooking.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask to meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
Work Environment

Bento Sushi is a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a team environment.
