About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Alberta Ltd. o/a Rice Bowl. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
  • Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Restock refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
