Job Title: Customs Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Consultant to join our team at Universal Logistics Inc. As a key member of our customs brokerage firm, you will be responsible for liaising with Canada Customs and ensuring seamless trade compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with Canada Customs to ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
  • Manage customs clearance processes for international shipments.
  • Develop and implement trade compliance strategies to minimize risks and optimize trade operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely customs documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in customs legislation and regulations.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in customs brokerage or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and laws.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
