Pharmacist (Part-time Contract)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team in a part-time contract position. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of pharmaceutical care for patients, providing exceptional patient counseling, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy regulations and company policies.
- Provide patient counseling on specialty medications.
- Support and coach pharmacy technicians and assistants.
- Assist in operational activities to optimize pharmacy processes.
- Develop relationships with healthcare providers and patients.
- Collaborate with Distribution, Patient Programs, Clinics, and Nursing divisions.
- Report Adverse Events in accordance with provincial regulatory standards.
- B.Sc. Pharmacy degree or higher.
- Current registration with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists.
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and legislation.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in retail, hospital, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry.
- Strong communication, customer service, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Strong business acumen and interest in innovative practice.
- Proven ability to organize time, set priorities, and multi-task.
- Understanding of cold chain distribution practices.
- Working knowledge of Kroll.
- Strong understanding of Third Party billing and contracts.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of pharmacy regulations across Canada is an asset.
