Kitchen Manager Role at BLUEBIRD CAFE & GRILL

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team and ensure seamless food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Establish efficient kitchen workflows to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  2. Coordinate the purchasing and requisitioning of food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  3. Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  4. Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, maintaining quality control standards.
  5. Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform budgeting and cost estimates.
  6. Prepare and submit regular reports to management, detailing kitchen operations and performance metrics.

This is a permanent, part-time role, with 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
