About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Banking Associate to join our Private Banking team at National Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional client service and building strong relationships with our high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Private Banker and/or Senior Private Banker in delivering services and ensuring administrative follow-up.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and loyalty by developing personalized, trust-based relationships.
  • Optimize interactions with clients and identify opportunities to make multi-product offers that meet their needs.
  • Answer client questions and act as a resource person for the firm's policies, procedures, and complex products.
  • Complete administrative tasks, open business and personal files, and carry out various transactions on behalf of clients.
  • Analyze client accounts, make follow-up calls, identify operational issues, and propose solutions.
  • Coach and act as a mentor in guiding and training new or less experienced employees.
  • Guide and train new colleagues who join the team.

Requirements
  • Three-year college diploma or academic equivalent in a related field and three years of relevant experience.
  • Investment Funds in Canada course, an asset.
  • Experience in personal and/or commercial credit.
  • Knowledge of banking, investment, and financing products.
