About the Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Operations: Assist with full-cycle accounting, including month-end close processes, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Sub-Ledger Management: Manage and reconcile sub-ledgers to guarantee accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Financial Reporting: Support financial reporting, including preparing journal entries and financial statements, to provide stakeholders with valuable insights.
  • Variance Analysis: Assist with variance analysis and account reconciliations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Policy: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies to maintain a high level of quality.
  • Process Improvement: Work closely with the Controller to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Support any ad-hoc financial projects or audits as needed.
Requirements:
  • Senior Accountant Experience: Senior accountant-level experience with a strong understanding of financial reporting and month-end close.
  • Sub-Ledger Expertise: Experience working with sub-ledgers and account reconciliations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, with a strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with the Controller.
  • Nice-to-Have: Prior experience with Visual Manufacturing software is a nice-to-have but not required.
