Job Summary

GORILLA TRANSPORT is seeking a skilled Apprentice Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining commercial transport trucks, ensuring they are safe and efficient on the road.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust and repair automotive systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labor cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
  • Provide customer service
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Reliability and dependability
Work Environment
