Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at MR MIKES Steakhouse Casual. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve daily restaurant operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of staff, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
  • Manage inventory, labor costs, and other operational expenses to maintain profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff to drive improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure our restaurant remains competitive and compliant.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a casual dining environment.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and reducing labor costs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
