Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our team at Comfort Upholstery (2003) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating sewing machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate sewing machines with precision and accuracy to meet production standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks to prevent shortages.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and maintain attention to detail.
  • Hand-eye co-ordination and organizational skills.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule

The work schedule is 30 to 40 hours per week.
