About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drapery Sewer to join our team at DAISY DRAPERIES. As a key member of our drapery fabrication department, you will be responsible for sewing and repairing drapery fabrics to meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Sewing Equipment
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on sewing machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Sew and Repair Drapery Fabrics
    • Operate sewing machines to sew and repair drapery fabrics, including drapery panels, curtains, and other decorative elements.
    • Use sewing guides and tension devices to ensure precise and accurate stitching.
  • Meet Quality and Production Standards
    • Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
    • Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet our high standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience in sewing and fabric repair is an asset.
  • Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
    • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
    • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
