Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Chips Family Restaurant Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
