Job Summary

Spectrum Health Care is seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team in a facility setting in Toronto. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes to inform treatment plans and improve patient care.
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and make adjustments as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and healthcare staff on physiotherapy principles and practices.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal; additional languages an asset.
