The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring the successful implementation of SAP BTP solutions.
  • Solution Development: Develop, test, and deploy SAP BTP solutions, ensuring they meet the required quality and functionality standards.
  • Communication: Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including C-Suite Executives.
  • Strategic Direction: Develop roadmaps and provide strategic direction within the BTP Extension Suite.
  • Application Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize applications and services in the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement Side-by-side extensibility, on-stack extensibility, and in-app extensions, selecting the best approach based on requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, functional teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful solution implementation, following DevOps principles and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes.
  • Quality Standards: Establish quality standards in the engineering community, providing innovative solution approaches and suggestions for improvement from an end-to-end perspective.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP BTP, including its capabilities and services.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ABAP for RAP, Java for CAP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Runtime Environments: Knowledge of different runtime environments: Kyma, Cloud Foundry, and ABAP.
  • Security and APIs: Familiarity with App routers + Security using XSUAA, SAP BTP Cloud Foundry, SAP U5 and/or Fiori Elements, DevOps and/or Agile environment, RESTful APIs, OData Services, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
  • Experience: Specific experience with the BTP Extension Suite.

Requirements:

  • Legally Authorized to Work: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
