About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Circle K. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain store appearance, including merchandising and visual displays.
  • Process transactions, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate records.
  • Identify and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in a management role.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
