About the Role:
Nadji Architects is seeking a skilled structural engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural designs that meet the needs of our clients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement structural design concepts for various building types, including residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
- Collaborate with architects and other design team members to ensure seamless integration of structural elements into the overall design.
- Conduct site inspections and provide on-site engineering support to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with building codes, by-laws, and other technical documents to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in a northern climate.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, by-laws, and technical documents.
- Proficiency in computer-aided drafting (CAD) software, including AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
