Job Title: Visual Inspection Technician

We are seeking a skilled Visual Inspection Technician to join our team at Technical Bureaus (TBS) Inspection Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting visual inspections to ensure quality and detect defects in various materials and equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality and detect defects in materials and equipment
  • Establish and maintain calibration standards for NDI techniques
  • Operate and interpret various NDT equipment, including liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic
  • Instruct and supervise trainees in NDT procedures
  • Maintain accurate test result reports
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in NDT and visual inspection
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • NACE accreditation and CWB Welding Inspector Certification Level 2
  • Nondestructive Testing Certificate
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including construction sites, large pressure vessels, and oil or gas pipelines.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 30-40 hours per week.
