Job Title: Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at AJ Ceramic Tile and Marble Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing ceramic tiles, marble, and granite, and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with tiles
  • Mix and apply adhesives using hand trowels
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Align and straighten tiles
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
  • Install tile strips
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in tile setting
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors
