Technical Support Specialist for Communications and Security Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at the Mircom Group of Companies. Based in Maple Ridge, BC, this role requires strong knowledge of networking principles, software and hardware troubleshooting, customer service, and training skills.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in providing technical support for communications and security products, including CCTV, intercom, access control, audio systems, and SIP/VoIP technologies. They will also be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for end-users and technical staff on the use of these products.
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also be eligible for group insurance benefits, company RRSP program, and opportunities for professional development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert-level support for networking, CCTV, intercom, access control, audio systems, and SIP/VoIP technologies
- Troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues efficiently to ensure seamless client operations
- Developing and delivering training programs for end-users and technical staff on the use of communications and security products
- Creating and maintaining training materials, manuals, and documentation to support effective learning
- Serving as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and support requests, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
The successful candidate must have a college diploma or university degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in applications support, training, or a similar role within the communications and security sector.
