About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Nima Kitchen and Bath Centre Ltd. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinets and millwork for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, and bring them to life in our custom cabinet shop.
  • Assembly and Finishing: Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, and reinforce joints to ensure a strong and durable finish.
  • Surface Preparation: Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare and apply laminated plastics to achieve a high-gloss finish.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols to ensure a secure workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a custom cabinet shop or millwork environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
