About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Unique Store Fixtures Ltd. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinets and furniture for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, and trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints.
  • Finishing and Assembly: Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics.
  • Quality Control: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality.
  • Repair and Restoration: Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Physical Capabilities: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) weight handling.
