We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Local Public Eatery. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare menus, estimate food requirements, and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and clean kitchen and work areas.
- Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant, urban area, and bar environment.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Health Benefits: Health care plan.
- Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
