About the Role:

As a Maintenance Planner Supervisor at Ardent Mills, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating routine maintenance activities at our facility. Your primary goal will be to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new work procedures to support the change process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and plan maintenance in collaboration with the maintenance manager and operations department.
  • Maintain inventories and lists of equipment using a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Manage and promote plant safety by incorporating safety plans, hazards, and precautions into daily planning activities.
  • Update and maintain equipment history records.
  • Responsible for ordering, receiving, and shipping spare parts.
  • Track and provide meaningful measures to improve efficiency.
  • Develop strategies for maintenance of all plant equipment and eliminate failures through root cause analysis and reliability-centered maintenance activities.
  • Build relationships with suppliers, contractors, and technical service providers.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, quality specifications, safety standards, and sanitation practices.
  • Coordinate interventions from external suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience or High School diploma/GED with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance processes, activities, and maintenance management systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable Predictive and Preventative Maintenance technologies.
  • Understanding of operating context of site assets/process systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance safety practices.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the operating areas.
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays (exceptional circumstances).
  • Ability to work in a machine-paced continuous process that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with conditions including heat/cold temperatures, indoor/outdoor environment, dusty environment, noisy environment, frequent moving/vibration, and elevated places.

Other Considerations:

  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, 7-day weeks, and opposing shifts when needed.
  • Except where prohibited by law, all offers of employment are conditioned upon successfully passing a pre-employment background check and/or drug test.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship now and in the future.
