About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at DQ Grill + Chill. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Restock condiments and supplies as needed to ensure a smooth service
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and equipment to maintain high standards of hygiene
  • Package take-out food and prepare food for customers
  • Portion and wrap food items to meet customer requirements
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer expectations
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a wide range of options for customers
  • Take customers' orders and respond to their queries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to meet customer requirements
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to meet customer requirements
