Job Title: Senior Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Operations Manager to join our client's manufacturing company in Boucherville. This role will report directly to the management committee and be responsible for leading all financial operations activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and various financial reports, providing insightful commentary on variances from budget.
  • Cash Management: Manage cash flow efficiently, ensuring timely payments and optimal utilization of funds.
  • Accounting Activities: Supervise all aspects of financial accounting, including invoicing, accounts receivable, customer credit files, collection activities, and accounts payable.
  • Payroll Processing: Collaborate with the Human Resources Department to process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and performance indicators, providing strategic insights to support business growth.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to company safety rules and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in administration or accounting and membership in the Ordre des CPA du Québec (an asset).
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years' relevant experience, including 2+ years in a management position.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, knowledge of Power Platform suite, and experience with integrated systems (ERP).
  • Languages: Fluency in spoken and written French and proficiency in English (written and spoken).
