Event Sales Manager

The Drake Hotel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective sales and marketing strategies. Your primary focus will be on creating and implementing sales plans to meet budget and revenue targets, while also developing and maintaining relationships with high-profile clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth
- Meet budget and revenue targets through effective sales and marketing tactics
- Negotiate contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
- Work closely with the Director of Sales to set prices and discounts, and devise marketing strategies to expand the client base
- Monitor guest reactions and feedback to identify opportunities to exceed expectations and improve client satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience in hospitality and events
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Professional presentation and recognized ability for persuasive sales
- Advanced organization and planning skills and the ability to respect tight schedules
