About the Role
The Receptionist Clerk plays a vital role in our community, providing exceptional service to team members, residents, families, and the public. This critical position impacts the lives of our residents and ignites the warmth of human connection.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform incidental clerical work, including typing, filing, delivering messages, sorting mail, photocopying, faxing, etc.
• Answer, screen, and direct all telephone calls.
• Greet all visitors with courtesy and direct as required.
• Provide exceptional service at all times to team members, residents, families, and the public.
• Maintain accurate and updated resident listings.
• Prepare charts and files for new admissions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Secondary school graduate or equivalent education.
• Minimum of 2 years' computer experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to handle several tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and be friendly and courteous in dealings with all contacts.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Vulnerable Sector Check.
