Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Avleen08 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and appliances
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Take customers' orders and serve food and beverages
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities
  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition and offer mentorship programs
  • Participate in diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
  • Support Veterans in translating their military skills and experience into the language of the civilian job market
  • Offer flexible onboarding options to allow Veterans to gradually adapt to the civilian workplace
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
