Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Property Management Accountant to manage the financial operations of our property management portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial data. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting models to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including financial reporting and tax requirements.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure efficient cash flow.
  • Prepare and review tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
