Retail Store Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Store Associate to join our team at the Orchards Food Store in Edmonton, Alberta. As a key member of our front-end team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high level of prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service to customers at all times.
- Operate a cash register, handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, and process returns and exchanges.
- Stock and face shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and complete opening and closing duties.
- Assist customers with questions and concerns, and provide information on store policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a grocery store environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
