We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payable Accounts Specialist to join our team at Richelieu Hardware. As a Payable Accounts Specialist, you will be responsible for processing a large volume of invoices, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely payment of accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of accounts payable, including invoices, payments, and credits.
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable.
  • Perform reconciliations and analysis to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payment of accounts payable and maintain a positive cash flow.

Requirements:

  • DEP or DEC in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Fluency in French and English (verbal and written).
