RN Cardiac Catheterization/Electrophysiology Lab Specialist

Providence Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization/Electrophysiology Lab. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practice and clinical judgment.
- Provide direct nursing interventions, including crisis management and life-threatening situations, and document patient progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in nursing orientation and share clinical knowledge with colleagues, students, and other team members.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, including program development, research, and education.
- Current practicing registration as a BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of a post-graduate critical care course or one year of recent experience in a critical care or equivalent setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge and ability to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
