Mining Engineer - Canada

We are seeking a highly skilled Mining Engineer to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our North American team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients in the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, planning, and optimization of mining operations
  • Long- and short-term scheduling of mining activities
  • Reserve Estimates/Mine economics including budgets and forecasts
  • Drill and blast optimization
  • Ventilation modeling
  • Feasibility studies
  • Mine services including backfill
  • Mine and stope development

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years' experience in mining engineering
  • Proficient user of one of the following mining software packages: Surpac, MineSched, Deswik, Mine2-4D, Datamine, EPS, Whittle, or Vulcan
