Moosomin Dental Centre is a reputable dental services provider with a team of experienced professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality care. We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team, responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting good oral health practices.
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform thorough dental cleanings to maintain patients' oral health.
- Provide education and guidance on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to patients.
- Take and develop dental X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants as required to prevent oral health issues.
- Conduct regular screenings for oral health conditions to identify potential problems early.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and dental procedures.
- Knowledge of dental office protocols and procedures.
- Strong customer service skills to provide excellent patient care.
- Ability to work with dental software, including Dentrix.
- Experience with Itero scanning is considered an asset but not required.
- Proficiency in standards of care, including infection prevention and control (IPAC).
- Licensed to practice as a Dental Hygienist in Saskatchewan.
