Pizza Chef Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Pizza Chef to join our team at Canadian Classic Pizza Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including pizzas, salads, and other menu items.
  • Food Safety and Handling: Ensure that all food is prepared and handled in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
