Job Title: Portable Toilet Driver

GFL Environmental is seeking a reliable and physically capable labourer to support our industrial line of business in Thunder Bay. The ideal candidate must hold a valid G license and be able to drive our sanitation/portable truck.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and service portable toilets, including cleaning and stocking units, and pumping out sewage.
  • Maintain the work truck and units in good condition.
  • Interact with customers, manage contracts, and collect payments.
  • Work outdoors and adapt to long hours.
  • Assist with additional job duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid G license with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Tolerance for unpleasant odors.
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm.
  • Meet deadlines and follow instructions.
  • Experience with physical labour and handling heavy equipment.
  • Physical ability to maneuver portable toilets.
  • Driving experience with large trucks and trailers.
  • Ability to back up using only mirrors.
  • Trustworthiness and ability to work independently.
  • Friendly and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients.
