About the Opportunity
This respected law firm is seeking an experienced full-time associate with expertise in managing Wills & Estates and Trusts matters out of their West Vancouver office. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of complex cases, including general Will issues, Power of Attorney, Representation Agreements, Trusts, and Disability Trusts, as well as Estate and Probate matters.
The highlight of this position is the opportunity to work closely with the Senior Partner of the office, learning directly from them and taking on challenging files, including those referred by the Vancouver office. As the Partner plans to transition out of their role, the incoming lawyer will take on more responsibilities and files over time, while being well-supported by a comprehensive legal team in a beautiful office near Ambleside Beach.
Requirements
- Called to the BC Bar and in good standing
- At least five years of post-call experience, with a focus on Wills & Estates law
- Comfortable with a 1500 billable target
- Willingness to work in the West Vancouver office
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location, experience, and industry standards.
