About the Role

SUN STAR KITCHEN CABINETS LTD. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
  • Setup and Adjust Production Machinery: Set up and adjust production machinery/tools to ensure accurate and efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Fabrication and Assembly: Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, ensuring high-quality products.
  • Quality Control: Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, maintaining inspection records and completing inspection reports.
  • Measurement and Verification: Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) and set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
