Key Responsibilities- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents
- Provide direct care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and mobility assistance
- Lead and coordinate the nursing care team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and decision-making
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition, ensuring timely interventions and referrals
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure resident-centered care and support
- Graduation from an approved nursing program
- Current practicing license with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CRNNL)
- Current BLS for Health Care Providers Certification
- Previous experience in long-term care, gerontology, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
