Job Title: Steel Stud Framer

New York Steel Framing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Steel Stud Framer to work on various commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, carpentry, and steel framing, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs for steel framing projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble steel studs and other materials, using various tools and equipment.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, and other components, ensuring precise fit and finish.
  • Supervise and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Maintain and repair existing steel structures, including residential and commercial buildings, and other establishments.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in steel framing, carpentry, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

The Steel Stud Framer will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent exposure to dust, noise, and physical demands. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
