Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Retail Store Leadership Manager to join our team. As a key member of our senior management team, you'll be responsible for leading the Store Team with creativity, passion for organic and natural products, and a quality-driven leadership style.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and uphold Nature's Fare Markets' Core Values
  • Build and sustain a positive work environment through outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale
  • Catch subtle mannerisms, behaviors, and actions of staff and manage them using your leadership skills
  • Recognize and reward employees in moments of excellence and provide real-time coaching
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, developing, and leading staff members to build a high-performing team
  • Provide open, consistent, and useful communication to staff regarding storewide and company goals, news, trends, and events

Customer Relationship:

  • Provide and promote customer service standards for a positive shopping experience and customer loyalty
  • Influence and manage the atmosphere and customer experience in your store
  • Ensure every customer experience is outstanding
  • Assist with all aspects of store operations and be ready to jump in to help in any department as needed

Entrepreneurship:

  • Work with your teams to ensure store merchandising is inviting to customers and drives sales
  • Bring forward new ideas and promote an open and safe place for team members to provide feedback and collaborate

Operations:

  • Ensure the store is well-merchandised and assist with building ends/displays to maximize visibility
  • Observe and determine if policy and procedures are being followed
  • Support your operations team
  • Anticipate department volumes throughout the day and direct and relocate staff accordingly
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in a management position
  • Experience managing people in a customer service industry is a strong asset
  • Post-secondary education in business administration, management, or a related field preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience managing budgets and financials
  • Demonstrated operational execution skills
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and long/unusual hours
