About This Role

We are seeking an experienced retail store supervisor to lead our team at Mobil Gas Bar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign tasks and duties to sales workers, ensuring optimal productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Hire, train, or arrange for training of new staff members, equipping them with the skills necessary to excel in their roles.
  • Authorize payments by cheque, maintaining a high level of financial accountability.
  • Order merchandise, effectively managing inventory levels and minimizing stockouts.
  • Authorize return of merchandise, ensuring fair treatment of customers and adherence to store policies.
  • Establish work schedules, balancing employee needs with business requirements.
  • Sell merchandise, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights for future decision-making.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, guaranteeing efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting teamwork.
Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate, indicating a strong foundation in basic education.
  • No prior experience required, although candidates with 1 to less than 7 months of experience will be given preference.
