Painter - Surface Finisher Job Description
  • We are looking for a skilled painter to join our team at BENDER PAINTING & DECORATING LTD. As a painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to the desired colour and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Additionally, you will be required to clean the work area and have experience with equipment and machinery such as brush painting and roller painting.
  • As a painter at BENDER PAINTING & DECORATING LTD, you will be expected to have a strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination and the ability to distinguish between colours.
  • You will also be required to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and complete a criminal record check.
  • We offer a competitive salary, dental plan, health care plan and the opportunity to work as a permanent employee with 40 hours per week.
  • Our work environment is varied and can include working outdoors and at various locations.
  • We require you to be legally able to work in Canada and have a strong understanding of English.
